Our story
Built to do satellite work properly
Prime Installers was founded on an observation anyone in this trade will recognise: almost every installation that fails in its third winter looked perfect on the day it went in. A dish shows a picture whether it was aligned on a meter or aimed by eye. A connector works whether it was compression-fitted and sealed or twisted on and hoped for. The customer cannot tell the difference — until the weather arrives.
So we built the opposite of the quick job. We survey before we quote, we align on a signal meter so you have rain margin rather than just a picture, we fix brackets into solid structure, and we seal every outdoor connection. Then we measure the signal quality and show you the number, so you know what you actually bought.
And we say no when saying no is the honest answer. If a tree has grown into your line of sight and cannot be cleared, we will tell you streaming is the better option — even though that is not a sale for us. If your signal is strong and the problem is your account, we will tell you that on the phone rather than take a callout fee to deliver the news at your house.

Being clear about it
We are installers, not the broadcaster
Prime Installers is an independent installation and repair business. We are not MultiChoice, not an accredited agent, and not an authorised dealer. DStv, Explora and OpenView are trademarks of their respective owners; we name them here only to say what equipment we work on.
Practically, that means two things. We cannot activate a subscription, pay an account or issue a smart card — those are account actions only the broadcaster can perform, and any installer who implies otherwise is going to waste your money. And because we work for you rather than for a platform, we will tell you when OpenView suits you better than a subscription, when the cheaper HD decoder does everything you actually need, and when your problem is an account matter that no callout will fix.
