A fair number of faults resolve on their own with these. We'd rather you tried them than paid us a callout.
- Switch the decoder off at the wall for a full minute — standby isn't the same thing.
- Check the subscription is paid and active in the app.
- If the account is active but channels error, leave the decoder on for 30 minutes so it can receive its entitlement update.
- Check the cable at the back of the decoder is finger-tight.
- Look at the dish from the ground — visibly drooping or at an odd angle tells you the answer.
- Point the remote at a phone camera and press a button. Most phone cameras see infrared, so no flashing light means the remote is dead, not the decoder.
