What you'll notice
A rattle, wobble or vibration from the indoor unit that changes with fan speed, often alongside noticeably weaker airflow than the unit once had.
Why it happens
Dust and biofilm packed unevenly into the vanes of the blower wheel, throwing it out of balance. Dry or worn bearings produce a squeal rather than a rattle.
How we fix it
We clean the blower wheel properly rather than just the visible grille, check the bearings by hand and by current draw, and re-measure airflow at the grille afterwards to confirm the unit is back to its designed output.
